Influencer marketing has been on the rise for years now but it can be a pain to learn more about. There are so many guides out there giving opinions on how to do it “the best” but there is one book that sums it all up pretty nicely for both brands and influencers alike.
That book is called “The Ultimate Guide To Influencer Marketing” written by Joe Sinkwitz (who also happens to be the CEO of a super awesome influencer website called Intellifluence and who loves influencers). There are two parts. The first part is for brands to learn more about how they can get their products out there via influencer marketing, what all it entails and the other part is for influencers such as myself. Not going to lie. I immediately skipped right to the second part.
Even though I have been in the blogging/influencer world for over 4 years now, I still don’t know every little thing I need to about being an influencer. While there were a few things touched upon in the book that I knew, there were many other things mentioned that I didn’t.
My biggest downfall right now is visibility and engagement. I have so much going on in my everyday daily life with two kids that I just don’t have that kind of time right now and I know it’s hurting me as an influencer. I find that when my kids are in school I do have the time, so I plan to make good use of what I learned in this book once they go back next school year. 😉
The information provided in the book is interesting and very well thought out. Each part of the book is thoroughly explained and for me personally, I was left with more knowledge of each topic. Normally I have more questions while reading but this book provided me with the answers I needed.
I like that the author has summed it up in the best way possible for both the pros and newbies to understand. Each section isn’t too overly drawn out like other guides I’ve read and I really love that. One can get bored reading too much information on the topic of influencer marketing. Haha. 😛
If you are looking for helpful information about influencer marketing, I definitely recommend this book. It’s both informative, fun and the author gets down to the nitty-gritty of influencing without sugar coating it. I plan to put this book to good use and I hope it helps me get to where I want to be in the near future.
