We recently transitioned both of my daughters into the same room. No more co-sleeping for this Mama. My in-laws restored a set of bunk beds for us, the girls got new comforter sets and even mattresses. I was was lucky enough to be sent the Comfort & Relax Memory Foam Mattress for review. The mattress went to my oldest daughter who has been sleeping on it for a few months now. Thanks to her, she’ll be helping give me more insight on my review.

Mattress Setup

As mentioned, the mattress does come rolled up and shipped in a box. The day we received it, we took the box upstairs, opened it and set the mattress up. The directions mentioned to allow at least 3 full hours for the mattress to fully expand. So we pretty much set it and forgot about it for a little while. Once it was fully expanded, my daughter laid on it and said she loved how it felt and that it was much more comfortable than her old mattress. The only thing she didn’t like about it was the smell, which is normal for these type of mattresses.

Usage

In this particular case, my daughter has used the mattress for a few months now. She is an average size 12 year old and the twin size fits her perfectly fine height wise. She uses it on the top bunk and it appears to work out well for her.

Here is what she wants to contribute to this review in her own words:

I think that this mattress is amazing and well made. It is very comfortable to lay on and even sit on. It helps me relax and feel more calm. Ever since I started using this mattress, I have had better sleep and always want to be on it. I feel like I am on a cloud whenever I lay on it.

Overall Impression

With school starting back up, I think it’s very important that she is able to get a good nights sleep and I fully believe thanks to Comfort & Relax’s incredible mattress, she will be well-rested each morning. I love knowing she is sleeping in comfort.

If I didn’t have a practically new mattress myself, I’d totally look into getting a queen or king size. I have that much faith in Comfort & Relax. Should I ever need to replace mine, I will definitely keep this brand at the top of my list.
