A lot of us lead busy lives. Most of the time we don’t feel like doing what is needed at home, so we call in the cleaning services. Only those of us who can afford it of course. You may have received a recommendation from a girlfriend on what local companies are good at and not so good. The best advice I can give you is to look into companies yourself. What she may have liked about one company you could hate and so on.
Here are some tips that will help you figure out who you want to clean your home:
Check Out Reviews Online
One of the best websites out there to check out when wanting to find out reviews (good and bad) for any company or individual that may enter into your home is Angie’s List. The site offers a variety of different categories: plumbing, roofing, heating & A/C, electrical, landscaping, house cleaning, remodeling and painting. With Angie’s List, you are sure to find a company you love. My only tip is to be logical in your choice and make sure the company or individual you are working with is safe. While Angie’s List may be my go-to, I’d definitely recommend doing a Google search as well.
Ask Questions
When dealing with any company or person, you should ALWAYS ask questions. To guide you along, here is a list of must-ask questions before you hire a cleaning service near you. If a company or person doesn’t allow you to ask the questions you need to in order to feel comfortable, move on to the next. No question is a dumb one. I too would make sure to ask dozens of questions before allowing anyone into my home especially around my children. I’d also like to point out that while it’s good to talk to the company, it’s also wise to talk with the actual individual too who will be coming into your home. Also, figure out ahead of time what kind of cleaning services you want to be done in and around your home. You have the choice of using an eco-friendly cleaning service company such as greenfacilities.co.uk.
Background Checks
If you are able to do this, I’d definitely do so. You never know who you are hiring and a background check tells all. Also, check into whether or not the company has liability insurance.
While this list may give the absolute 3 most important tips when hiring someone to come clean your home, I’d recommend checking out this list for more tips.
