A Good Night’s Sleep Is Only A Sheet Away!

When it comes to getting a good night’s rest, we’re usually all in the same boat. We go to bed as early as possible to catch as many Zs as we can, and we still wake up tired in the morning. Sound familiar? If it does, we might just have a few good solutions for you, and they’re mainly to do with how comfortable your bed is!

Change Your Sheets

Your bed sheets are what you separate you from the mattress, and act as a good cushion to make sure that doesn’t get too uncomfortable for you. You probably have something in the 200 thread region currently, which is good for sleep, but it could be better.

So the next time you’re at the store when your regular sheets fail you, look into something with a stronger amount of threads, like 1800 thread count bed sheets. These will be incredibly soft for you to lay on, and work wonders for your sleepy head.

Add Some Blankets

There’s such a thing as an optimal sleeping temperatures, and that includes throwing a few blankets over yourself at night. No one wants to overheat when they’re sleeping, and thus the window is usually open during the summer and duvet thrown off. However, when it comes to feeling covered (and protected!), a blanket can come real handy!

So humans like to sleep in a cold room snuggled under warm blankets, as your innate body temperature when you’re at low energy is a lot lower than what you are throughout the rest of the day. Trick your body into wanting to go to sleep by making your sleep environment a lot more chilled.

Even if you’re the kind of person who’d really rather not have to cope with ‘frigid’ temperatures, a lot of blankets can make the bed feel a little more enclosed and comfortable. Drag the throws out of the cupboard now!

Change Your Pillow

So this one may not be to do with how you’re feeling after you’ve woken up, but it can make the world of difference to the way you look! Pillows need to be changed every 6 months or so after they’ve been bought to make sure they’re not collecting dust, dead skin cells, any bugs, or all three, which can harm your skin and cause plenty of breakouts.

We’ve all heard of the trick to put another pillow under your own when you have a cold to elevate your breathing, which makes runny noses less of a bother. The same rule applies when you’re not stuffed up! It’s also a good excuse to get some of those ergonomic pillows that can breathe on their own to make you feel as light as a cloud when you’re getting your kip on. These kinds of pillows can make the world of difference when you’ve returned home after a rough day at work!

Get the rest you deserve on the bed you deserve! Pack those blankets on and lower the temperature tonight.
